One More Day........

Tomorrow we leave to pick up our daughter--YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! We are all done packing and have all our paperwork done. Everything is ready. Now to try to sleep-yeah right, our flight is 6:30 and I am too anxious to sleep. Isabella mommy and daddy love you and we are finally coming to get you and take you home. We hope your transition is smooth I know it will be hard for you especially since you have been with the foster mother for so long. We will see you tomorrow.

Everything is booked. We arrive at the Westin on Monday March 24 and leave Guatemala Thurs. March 27. Now to finish everything before our trip. Hoping this will make the week fly by. 8 more days and we are off to see our little girl. YEAH!!!!!

YES YES YES WE HAVE PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally have pink!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our appointment is March 25 at 8:00 a.m. I can't believe it, she is finally coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is the best day ever. Isabella we are finally coming, you are going home. We love you.

Still Waiting!!!!!!!!!

The results of the DNA were sent to us on Saturday, and we love seeing her little mug shots she looks so cute. But we still do not have pink. I know that there are others waiting too with the same dates as us, but knowing there are others does not make the wait any easier. We are both anxious to go and finally bring Isabella home. Keep praying for pink, we hope that we find out this week with our date.

DNA was taken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that it is almost over and Isabella is finally coming home. She has been registered with the Central Authority, her new birth certificate was issued with our names, and she has her passport. We just authorized her DNA and it was taken today-- YESS!!!! We are finally hitting the home stretch. Hopefully in a week we will recieve pink and have our date for the embassy appointment. We received new pictures of her and she is getting so big. She is so cute I can't wait to get her home. Now we are both in the process of finishing up paper work that has to be done for her pickup trip and organizing it to bring with us. I on the other hand have to start cleaning and making sure everything is done before we go. Whew so much to do, I am hoping it will make time go by a little quicker, but I don't think it will. I know I will be soon counting down the days til pick up.

Isabella is coming home soon!!!!

We found out yesterday that Isabella is finally out of PGN. She is finally going to come home!!! YEAH!!!! Rob and I are so excited and can't wait for the day when we get on the plane to get her and everything to finally be over. We still have about a month to wait due to there are things that need to be taken care of. First a new birth certificate an passport need to be issued. She then needs to get a second DNA test and then we get our appointment with embassy. Funny after all this time I am finally posting when my journey is almost over but I guess better later than never. I will keep you posted of any updates. We are waiting for new pictures of Isabella which I will post.
